Affiliate Disclosure

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission introduced new rules for Disclosure Compliance to ensure that readers or viewers of web media (blogs, YouTube videos, etc.) are aware if the blogger/presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. In the context of blogs, readers must be informed if the blogger is earning money by sharing a link or promoting a product.

As per the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on outdoor-empire.com: All the links on outdoor-empire.com are affiliate links, and I receive a small commission from sales of certain items. Please note that this commission does not affect the price of the product for you as the buyer.

What are affiliate Links?

Affiliate links are ordinary links that you may come across on this site as well. The difference is that when you click on our link and buy a product on an external site, we receive a small commission because we redirected you to that site.

Please note that the prices remain the same, and there are no price ups and downs. The purchase process and price remain entirely unchanged for you as the buyer.

Amazon Affiliate Links

Outdoor Empire is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Affiliate Program. Therefore, any links you see on our site are affiliated with Amazon. When you click on these links, you will notice a unique tag that we have added. This tag helps Amazon keep track of its participants.

What about sponsored content?

At Outdoor Empire, we do not participate in sponsored content. We create all our content ourselves, and we aim to provide the most authentic information possible. If we do create a post with paid sponsorship, we will disclose this fact at the beginning of the post.
